Daniel Delaney - Founder / Owner
Delaney Chicken is the second restaurant and brand created by Daniel Delaney, a James Beard Award nominated restaurateur with a deep-seated love for all things Southern. His first restaurant, Delaney Barbecue, is widely considered to be one of the best BBQ joints in the United States, and it continues to rank in the top five for BBQ in New York by the likes of the NYTimes, Time Out NY, Zagat, and New York Magazine.
Before venturing into hospitality, Daniel hosted and produced a series of extremely popular web television shows which caused him to travel the United States. He holds a BFA in Multimedia and Typography from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Nicole Fabian- director of FINANCE & DEVELOPMENT
Nicole has worked in hospitality since the age of 15, working in nearly every position in full-service restaurants, managing operations for restaurant groups, and consulting to both new and established foodservice companies. She has lived most of her life in either New York or Texas, growing up in Houston, obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from New York University, and returning to Texas to complete her Master’s in Hospitality Management. After opening restaurants and food production facilities for startups in the Bay Area, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, the NY/NJ Metropolitan area, and New Orleans, she returned to New York in 2014 and joined Delaney Restaurant Group in February 2016.
Janine Henry- director of operations
Prior to joining the Delaney Restaurant Group in January 2017, Janine has worked in Germany, London, LA, and NY and opened a number of restaurants, boutique hotels, private members clubs, and spas for the Soho House group, Fig & Olive and has also supported brands like Sarabeth's, Docks Oyster Bar and Domenico Vacca.
In her roles, she was responsible for ongoing Operations, Branding, Special Event Management, Guest Relations, Recruitment, Training, and Development of Future Projects. She has a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality. One of the achievements she is most proud of is the planning and execution of a fundraiser dinner for former President Barak Obama in Los Angeles.
